St Edmund's College is England's oldest Catholic school and has a long established reputation for welcoming and educating international students. The summer school is an integral part of the College and promotes high standards of personal achievement, conduct and community spirit. These summer courses are an ideal preparation for transition to the main school or to another British school.
The educational experience provided on the summer school facilitates enrichment of the whole child. The course offers new learning opportunities through exciting projects, theatre visits, educational visits, option courses and activities all designed to challenge and extend personal development and language competence. Native speakers and bilingual students are welcome.
In 2016 we celebrated our 20th anniversary with students from 40 different countries. To mark this special occasion we gave each child a gift of a free Trinity ISE examination. We are very happy to report that the results were excellent, with the vast majority achieving a Pass, Merit or Distinction.
