Healthy Eating at the Summer School
Students meet for breakfast, lunch and dinner in our beautifully refurbished refectory.
Our professional chefs and catering team serve three cooked meals every day when the children are at the College. Breakfast is a choice of cold and cooked options, including cereals, yoghurts, eggs and bacon. Lunch and dinner include at least two options of cooked meat such as lamb or beef, as well as a wide variety of vegetables, salad, soup, bread and dessert. On Friday nights we have barbecues, with classic favourites such as burgers, hot dogs and grilled chicken. We take student feedback very seriously. Each week our Student Council will make comments and suggestions about what they would like to see more of in their meals, and we always do our upmost to act on them.
On excursion days the children take a packed lunch with them, typically comprising a sandwich, crisps, juice, a piece of fruit and a small bar of chocolate.
We can cater for all dietary restrictions and allergies.

|Breakfast: Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mixture of juices and smoothies. Fried eggs, bacon and sausages. Cereal and yoghurt. Cheese and cooked meats.|
|Lunch: French onion soup with garlic bread. Vegetable lasagna, gammon steak and pineapple or spaghetti bolognese. Green beans, sweetcorn and boiled carrots. Chocolate brownies with vanilla ice cream.|
|Dinner: Tomato soup with croutons. Deep fried chicken with curly fries or macaroni cheese. Choc-ices or jelly.|
